New Zealand four piece the Beths sprung to prominence with their debut album 'Future Me Hates Me' but who knew they had already made a five track EP? Well here it is in all it's glory showcasing the catchy, buzzy sound that led 'Future Me Hates Me' to be such a killer. Expect ear-friendly indie with nods to the Lemonheads, Flying Nun and Best Coast.
If you believe what you read, Toronto post-punk band Greys have matured into a less noisy, more thoughtful band for their third album, 'Age Hasn't Spoiled You'. Judging by the track 'These Things Happen' that's not necessarily the case. They still have that racket-making ability, coupled with an ear for melody. Basically, old fans have no need to worry.
Toro Y Moi's prolific Chaz Bear moved for awhile to the wilds of Portland to make his previous album Boo Boo. Whilst there he got to thinking about how technology ruins our day to day lives and the constant instant gratification we experience. i hope this leads to a Toro Y Moi album that we can enjoy as much as his earlier albums as Chaz himself could possibly do with a step away from the computer to re/discover some form.
