There is some kind if mystery connection with Brazilian artists and their LPs recorded in Mexico. As far as I remember, Loronix has Carlos Lyra, Wilson Simonal, Tamba Trio and Joao Gilberto "recorded in Mexico" LPs, all great.Leny Andrade - Gravado no Mexico (1966), is a really hard to find and perhaps unknown for many Bossa Jazz aficionados. This is the kind of record that everybody knowns that exist but nobody had the chance to listen. What you get here is a classic masterpiece recorded at the right time with the right personnel. Leny has the accompaniement of Breno Sauer (vibraphone), Portinho (drums), Erneo Eger (bass) and Adao Pinheiro (piano). Sarav (Samba da Benao), Canto de Chegar ,Na Baixa do Sapateiro, Saudades da Bahia, Estamos A, Noite do Meu Bem, Aruanda, Feio Nao Bonito, Exaltaao à Mangueira , O Pato , Samba da Mimha Terra, S Dano Samba, Capoeira de Oxal, de Manha , Menino das Laranjas, Sarav.
