'Shimmering Basset' is the second studio album from The Green Child, a duo consisting of Grass Widow member Raven Mahon and recording engineer Mikey Young. Recorded in Australia (rather than by long distance as was the case with their 2018 debut) it's a much more assured and thematically coherent work.
