MORGIONTo those who don't know, Morgion play strongly death metal-influenced doom. Guttural vocals and up-tempo sections occasionally come into play during the epic compositions, but for the most part, this is a fine doom metal offering, combining extremely heavy riffing at times with slow, majestic, keyboard-laden atmospheric flourishes. Hauntingly beautiful while still being massively heavy. Morgion weave out five anguished offerings on this album, every one of them an amazement in itself, each one sorrowfully adept at proving that Morgion are an awesome band and deserve more recognition than they currently garner. Includes a bonus track from a 1995 demo that is quality.
