Zdenek Liska was a prolific Czech film score composer. He wrote some 72 film scores over a 31 year period. He is a pioneer of electronic music and advocate of using unusual instruments. His soundtrack to the 1963 Czech sc-fi film Ikarie XB-1 shows him as being a leftfield composer of some merit.
